My Travel Bucket List

Well.. before I blog about my previous travel adventures (okay, stories), I thought it would be good that I list down things that I would like to do or see, at least once in my whole lifetime (so that I could tick them off. heh).

1. Aurora Borealis

Also known as the Northern Lights. Well... this is my ultimate must-see! I've always been fascinated by the beautiful view and I think to be able to see in real life will just be soooo satisfying :) I think I might cry if/when I do get the chance to see it. Heh. But it has been reported recently that this Northern Lights might be dimming for a decade now...

2. Aurora Australis

Well... an alternative would be to see the Aurora Australis! Hehe. I think it is just as beautiful and to be able to see this amazing phenomenon with my own eyes would just be so amazing and surreal.

3. The Happiest Place on Earth! 

This is a definitely must-go! I mean... why wouldn't you want to visit The Happiest Place on Earth, right? There are many Disneylands around the world and I feel fortunate to be able visit one of them last December! I went to the Hong Kong Disneyland and I fell in love with it. Sooooo, my mission is now to visit every Disneyland, if possible InsyaAllah :)

4. Mount Fuji (and the shrines and gardens in Japan)

It's just too pretty! And look at the Fushimi Inari shrine... there's just something about these places that make me want to visit them. 

5. Shibuya Crossing and Hachiko

Because... why not? Seeing and being part of this organized chaos and paying a visit to a statue of the most loyal dog is definitely something I want to do.

6. New York!

I've always been in love with NYC. And after clicking the link to The Empire State Building Experience, my heart just went crazy and I know there's no turning back! HEHE.

7. London

Clear blue skies... clear blue waters... what else can I say to convince myself? 

That's it for now... Will definitely update this list once I've crossed out some! Hehe. 

What do you do when you miss Seoul?

I just came back from Seoul about a week ago and I am definitely missing it already! I miss everything about Seoul - the weather, the food, the pretty places and the friendly people! Will write about the trip soon!

Anyways... Since I'm missing Seoul, the next best thing in Singapore that I can have is the food! The opportunity came when Shikin mentioned that she has not tried Korean food before and suggested that we have lunch at Seoul Garden HotPot. So... why not? 

We took quite some time to decide on what to eat and finally, this is what we ordered (although this is only half of it). Haha. I think you can definitely tell that we are big eaters!

I tried the Marinated Chicken Bibimbap as usually, I will have one of the stews and I liked it, although it is not as spicy as stated. Be warned though that the portion is quite huge!

We also tried the Beef Japchae and we absolutely love it! Sadly, it wasn't spicy although we requested for it. But it's still yummy!

Wait... how can you start a meal without appetizers right? HEHE. We had the super crispy and delicious mandu and deep-fried chicken wings (although the sauce is not that spicy to us)!

So, the next time you miss Seoul (or wants to feel like you're there), head down to Seoul Garden HotPot and satiate that hunger! :)
